Described in the press as “a tenor with a sparkling tone and radiant top notes” , Norwegian tenor Petter Moen has established himself as a singer equally at home in both opera and concert. He made his professional operatic debut with the Wermland Opera in Karlstad, Sweden, singing the role of Count Almaviva in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia.  Since then he has performed with the Norwegian National Opera, Royal Danish Opera, Royal Opera Stockholm, Festival d’Aix-en-ProvenceHändel-Festspiele Halle, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Oldenburgisches Staatstheather, Theater Chemnitz, Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik and with orchestras such as NDR Radiophilharmonie, Arctic Philharmonic, Copenhagen Phil, Bergen Philharmonic and the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra.

The season 2024/25 includes Mozart's Requiem with Jönköping Sinfonietta, Britten's  Serenade for tenor, horn and strings,  the role of Augustin Moser in Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg with The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen and The Seven Deadly Sins by Kurt Weill with Aalborg Symphony Orchestra.

Recent engagements include the role of Jaquino in Beethoven's Fidelio with the Dutch Touring Opera, Tanzmeister in Ariadne auf Naxos with the Royal Opera in Stockholm, Bach's Weinachtsoratorium with the Copenhagen Phil and Kristiansand symphony orchestra, Janáček's The Diary of one who vanished at Valdres Sommersymfoni, Mozart´s Requiem with the Danish Chamber Orchestra and concerts of Britten's Seven Sonnets of Michelangelo together with pianist Lina Braaten.
