​​Petter Moen made his professional operatic debut at Wermland Opera in Karlstad, Sweden, in the role of Count Almaviva in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia. Since then, he has appeared with many theatres and festivals including the Norwegian National Opera, Royal Danish Opera, Royal Opera Stockholm, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, Händel-Festspiele Halle, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Edinburgh International Festival, Oldenburgisches Staatstheater, Nederlandse Reisopera, Theater Chemnitz, and Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik. He has also performed with a wide range of orchestras, such as the NDR Radiophilharmonie, Arctic Philharmonic, B´rock Orchestra, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, Copenhagen Phil, Bergen Philharmonic, and the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra.

Recent performances include Mozart’s Requiem with Jönköping Sinfonietta, Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with Musica Vitae, Augustin Moser in Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the Royal Opera in Copenhagen, and the Father in Kurt Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins with the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra.
